Chess Helps Every Student Succeed (C.H.E.S.S.) is the acronym for a club based on playing the game of Chess. Chess is known to help students improve; confidence, problem solving, discipline, concentration, strategize, critical thinking, communication, memory skills, sportsmanship, analyzation and evaluation.

Novice to Expert are welcome. Tuesday & Wednesday after school in Room 504.

The Chosen Generation is a Gospel Choir. The vision came to past 2 ½ years ago from one of our members Chanel McCullough.Their vision is to inspire people through song of praise and worship.

They have sung for organizations, churches, and several schools throughout the system along with Thomasville High School, which has build relationships that have been rewarding.

These students are very passionate about this club and what it represents. The most excited thing to watch is their growth as they lead others.

This group meets every Monday.

This club was designed to show students that their passion for games can be channeled into a lucrative and life-long occupation. The club explores everything from the dream and concept to the sale and marketing of games. They are even developing a game.

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student -led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.

Orchestra is a full-year string and wind ensemble at Andrews. The course is held during first block. The ensemble rehearses a wide variety of music, including classical, fiddle tunes, contemporary compositions and soundtracks from movies and musicals. Several concerts are held every year. Students are encouraged to pursue advanced musical interests, including auditioning for All-County and All-State Orchestra ensembles.
