Library Media Services offers a Buddy Mentor/Mentee Program to media specialists who are new to the profession, new to Guilford County Schools, or new to the grade level. The purpose of the Buddy Mentor/Mentee Program is to create a strong network of support for these media specialists as they transition into their new roles. Mentors act as buddies and are available for questions, suggestions, and visits. They provide a vital role in helping the Mentees make a smooth transition to a new situation. Group information/discussion sessions are planned to share information and to provide an opportunity for all Mentees to benefit from all Mentors and from each other. The dates and locations for meetings are listed below. All meetings will be from 3:30-5:30.
