Preview Collection

8:00-5:00 Weekdays
The purpose of the Preview Collection is to support the collection development process
in Guilford County Schools' library media centers.
The books in the Preview Collection are provided by publishers for hands-on
examination by media specialists for consideration of purchase.
To facilitate equity, access, and the availability of all preview titles
throughout the year, the following procedures have been implemented:

* Preview books will be cataloged and barcoded. |
| * Media Specialists may check out 10 books for 2 weeks. |
| * Books may be renewed one time. |
A Preview Party will be held at the end of the school year so that
media specialists can select from the previous year's books for their media center collections.
Call 370-2355 to have books sent to you through courier. Books may be returned the same way.
